The Town Council consists of five members. These members are elected by the citizens of Whiteland to serve in their best interests.

The members of the council were sworn in at the regular Council meeting December 10, 2007 by the Whiteland Clerk-Treasurer. Their new term starts on January 1, 2008 and expires on December 31, 2011.

David A. Kelsay --Ward 1
Julie Dwire --Ward 2
Roger Ford, President --Ward 3
Alan Whitaker --At-Large
Ed Tichenor, Vice President --At-Large

The Town Manager is Dennis Capozzi. The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council to run the day-to-day operations of the Town and recommend actions to the Town Council, Plan Commission & Board of Zoning Appeals he considers advisable.
