NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF DETERMINATION TO ISSUE BONDS
Taxpayers of the Town of Whiteland, Indiana (the “Town”) are hereby notified that the Town has preliminarily determined to issue general obligation bonds in accordance with Indiana Code 36-5-2 in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the purpose of (i) acquiring certain equipment and vehicles for the Town including but not limited to a ladder truck, police department vehicles, public works service vehicles, trailers and an excavator, and other equipment and vehicles necessary for Town purposes, and (ii) undertaking certain public improvement projects in the Town including the construction, renovation, improvement and equipping of Town facilities and other public improvements throughout the Town. This notice is provided in accordance with Indiana Code 6-1.1-20-5.
