The Whiteland Bid Opening Committee’s purpose is to ensure the fair and transparent process of formally opening and recording submitted bids for a project or contract. This committee verifies the proper registration of bids, publicly announces the details of each bid (like the bidder’s name and bid amount), and creates an official record to prevent corruption and ensure all participants have access to the same competitive information

The Bid Opening Committee members are appointed by the Town Council.
