The Redevelopment Authority, a separate body created by state statute, acts as a mechanism to finance infrastructure projects approved by the Whiteland Town Council, including facilitating lease-rental bond structures with the Whiteland Redevelopment Commission. The Redevelopment Authority only takes actions that carry out the ordinances and resolutions passed by the Whiteland Town Council.
